Once again in 2025, the 1000 Miglia will follow a five-day format, evoking the epic spirit of the pre-war races. From June 17 to 21, over 400 historic cars will travel across Italy along a figure-eight route, just like in the first 12 editions of the legendary speed race.
On Tuesday, June 17, the race will kick off in Brescia, heading towards Desenzano, Sirmione, Verona, Bovolone, and Ferrara, ending the first leg in San Lazzaro di Savena, near Bologna. The following day, the crews will tackle the scenic Raticosa and Futa mountain passes, pass through Prato and Siena, and reach Rome.
On Thursday, June 19, the race will resume from the Capital and cross Orvieto, Foiano della Chiana, Arezzo, San Sepolcro, and San Marino, concluding the leg in Cervia-Milano Marittima. On Friday, June 20, the 1000 Miglia will span Italy from east to west: from Cervia to Forlì, then up to Empoli, Pontedera, and the Tyrrhenian coast, passing through the Naval Academy in Livorno, Viareggio, and the Cisa Pass, before ending the leg in Parma.
On Saturday, June 21, the final day will feature the grand finale: the return to Brescia, the symbolic city and beating heart of the 1000 Miglia.
If you’re planning to experience the thrill of the Red Arrow up close, San Giorgio 9 is the perfect base for your stay: just steps away from Piazza Loggia and Piazza Vittoria, key venues for scrutineering and pre-race ceremonies ahead of the official start on Viale Venezia.
