What to do and what to see in the city
All of the main monuments and squares of the city center are just a few steps away from apartments San Giorgio 9, as well as restaurants, bars, shops, and parking areas.
The historical city center of Brescia is well connected with the outskirts of town
through surface public transport and the subway.
Where to eat: restaurants and bars
The nearest restaurants are “Osteria al Bianchi” or “Trattoria Gasparo”, just a two minutes walk, but there’s plenty more within walkable distance.
The nearest bars are in Piazza della Loggia (300mt/3min walk)
What to do and where to have some fun:
There are two main “party” areas in the center of Brescia: one of them is the “Carmine” neighborhood, a 5min walk from the apartments.
The second one is Piazzale Arnaldo, an about 15min walk.
Where to get groceries and do some shopping:
There are two supermarkets about 600mt from the apartments (7min walk), “CONAD Sapori e Dintorni” and “Italmark”, both in piazza della Vittoria.
This is also a great shopping area, with plenty of smaller stores and bigger chains such as Coin or H&M, all within a 10min walk.
The main shopping streets are Portici X Giornate, Corso Zanardelli, and Corso Palestro.
How to get around:
PARKING: there are two public indoor parkings in the immediate vicinities of the apartments, Piazza della Vittoria parking (500mt/5min walk) and Fossa Bagni parking (600mt/6min walk). They also have charging stations for electric cars.
SUBWAY: the nearest subway stop is "Vittoria" and it's 500mt/a 5min walk away.
BICIMIA BIKE RENTAL: there are two Bicimia bicycle rental stations nearby, close to the two parking lots mentioned above.
